This capital of Sikkim is also a prominent hub for Buddhist culture and religion and a hotspot for shoppers, lovers, and fashionistas. There are also a number of sightseeing places in Gangtok, each special in its own way. Our places to visit here will be the Tashi View Point, Ganesh Tok, Hanuman, Rumtek Monastery/ Jhakri Falls, Institute of Tibetology, Enchay Monastery, Dodurl Chorten and M G Marg. We shall also treat our taste buds at M G Marg with Sikkimese delicacies.
Kalimpong, which is approximately 3hours drive from Gangtok is popular as an education hub. There are several institutes here that had been established in the colonial period and are still running successfully. Kalimpong is also known for its flower market that has a wide array of orchids; nurseries, which export Himalayan grown flower bulbs, tubers and rhizomes. We will also ensure to cover the major tourist attractions in Kalimpong and shall set off for the sightseeing of Durpin Hill, Jelapla View Point, Pine View Point, Chitra Bhanu and Kalim Temple, Dr Graham’s Homes complex with its historic church, Scottish Missionary and Delo Hill.

On arrival at New Jalpaiguri Railway Station / Bagdogra airport, meet & greet our representative who will later transfer you to your pre booked hotel in Darjeeling (7,200 ft) for an overnight stay.
Day 2: Darjeeling Sightseeing
Today early in the morning (at 4.00 am), we will drive to Tiger Hill to watch the spectacular Sunrise over Mt. Khangchendzongha (28,208 ft. Worlds 3rd highest peak). On the way back, we will visit the Ghoom Monastery and Batasia Loop. After breakfast, we will also visit Himalayan Mountaineering Institute, P.N. Zoological Park (Thursday closed), Tenzing Rock, Tibetan Refugee Self-help Centre (Sunday closed), Tea Garden (outer view), Ava Art Gallery and Japanese Temple (4 hrs from 9.00 to 13.00 hrs).
In the evening, enjoy the scenic view and beauty of the mountain ranges while roaming through Darjeeling Mall. An overnight stay at the hotel in Darjeeling.
Day 3: Darjeeling – Gangtok (98 Kms, approx 4 hours drive)
During Darjeeling Gangtok Kalimpong Tour, In the morning after breakfast, we will leave for the city tour of Darjeeling. Later, in the afternoon, we will proceed for Gangtok (5500ft. /98 kms /4 hours), the capital city of Sikkim state (Sikkim is the 23rd.state of India), which is also known as the most peaceful and beautiful state in India. On arrival at Gangtok, check in at the hotel for an overnight stay.
Day 4: Gangtok Sightseeing
After breakfast in the morning, we will visit the Tashi view point, Ganesh Tok and Hanuman Tok. These viewpoints offer panoramic view of snow capped Himalayan peaks and Gangtok city. Further, we will proceed to visit the Rumtek Monastery/ Jhakri Falls, Institute of Tibetology, Enchay Monastery, Dodurl Chorten, etc.
In the evening, we will also visit M G Marg, the busy market of Gangtok, for shopping and having Sikkimese delicacy at the local restaurant. Enjoy an overnight stay at the hotel in Gangtok.
Day 5: Gangtok – Kalimpong (75 kms, aaprox 3 hours drive)
Today, after breakfast we will drive to Kalimpong (1243 meters / 4078 feet). After checking in at the hotel, we will set off for the local sightseeing of Durpin Hill, Jelapla View Point, Pine View Point, Chitra Bhanu and Kalim Temple, Dr Graham’s Homes complex with its historic church and well maintained grounds founded in 1900, Scottish missionary, Delo Hill (5556 ft) appears to be the roof- of- the- world, is the highest point in Kalimpong.
Day 6: Kalimpong – NJP Railway station/Bagdogra Airport (75 kms, approx 3 hours drive)
In the morning after breakfast, check out from the hotel and departs towards NJP Railway station/Bagodgra Airport to catch the train/flight for onward destination.
